The Humble Administrator Garden is Suzhou's largest and most renowned classical garden, celebrated as one of China's Four Great Gardens. Avoid Chinese Holidays

Strongly avoid Golden Week (Oct 1-7), Chinese New Year (late Jan/Feb), and Labor Day (May 1-5). Crowds are extreme and tickets often sell out weeks in advance.

Tickets must be booked online in advance via the official WeChat mini-program "Suzhou Garden Tourism" or major travel platforms. Peak season (Apr-Oct) adult ticket is 80 RMB, off-peak (Nov-Mar) is 70 RMB. Discounts are available for students, seniors, and children with valid ID. Beware of fake tickets sold outside the entrance. Free guided tours are available at the visitor center. Audio guides can be rented for 30 RMB (200 RMB deposit).
