The Canton Tower, affectionately nicknamed 'Slender Waist', is China's tallest and the world's second-tallest tower, standing at 600 meters. Avoid Chinese Holidays

Strongly avoid Golden Week (Oct 1-7), Chinese New Year (late Jan/Feb), and Labor Day (May 1-5). Crowds are extreme and tickets often sell out weeks in advance.

Various ticket packages are available (starting from 150 RMB for the 433m observation deck). You must enter within your pre-selected time slot (e.g., 16:00-18:00) and can only ascend to the top once. Security check and ID verification are mandatory; lighters, knives, and glass items are prohibited. Note that there are no restrooms or food vendors at the top, and photo services incur an extra fee.
