About This Place

Splendid China is China's first large-scale cultural theme park, combining the Splendid China Miniature Scenic Area and the Chinese Folk Culture Villages. In the miniature area, marvel at nearly 100 exquisitely crafted 1:15 scale models of China's most famous landmarks, offering a 'tour of China in a day.' In the folk villages, immerse yourself in the architecture, costumes, and vibrant cultural performances of 56 ethnic groups.

Avoid Chinese Holidays

Strongly avoid Golden Week (Oct 1-7), Chinese New Year (late Jan/Feb), and Labor Day (May 1-5). Crowds are extreme and tickets often sell out weeks in advance.
